Like many in the Baseball world I was stunned to hear of the death of Jose Fernandez . You may know of his determination to leave the poverty and oppression in Cuba to follow his dreams of an MLB career. The thing that struck me from all the tributes for him was how many said he was never to busy for fans or community service , and how much he loved life on and off the field We should all give of time to help some one or to make them smile. We should also love every minute of our lives and reflect that joy to those around us.
To his Marlin teammates I know it will be hard to finish the season, but try to remember his passion and joy as you play the last games in 2016. after each game you can cry and grieve for your brother, but the field should always be a place of joy and passion you owe that to him and your fans.
