In  the Radio broadcast yesterday Jeff Brantley was ask who was the last Reds Starting pitcher to win two straight opening day starts. The answer was Tom Browning1990-91. This not really a trivia question, but  why didn’t Jose Rijo not start the 1991 opener. Seems odd he would not have started seeing as how he was 1990 World  Series MVP. My gut says he was on the DL , but i’m not sure does anyone know?
